Scottish Water tenders £19m+ generators and pumps equipment hire contract

Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for generators and pumps equipment hire worth an estimated £19.2 million.

The water company is looking to appoint one or more suitable suppliers to provide a cost effective pan-Scotland pumps and generator hire solutions to support its capital and operational delivery programmes.

Scope of equipment required covers all major items including pumps and generators - including all types of electrical, diesel, hydraulic, submersible, high lift pumps and accessories.

All types of generators are required to be 15KVA and above. Provision for both pumps and generators hires may also include a requirement for design, installation commissioning and de-commissioning services.

The framework agreement will run for an initial period of 4 years with four further annual extension options.
